It' s situated in the north of Italy, at the border with Switzerland, between the Alps and the Po.
In the sixth century the Longobardo people inhabited this territory, from which derives the name Longobardia turned
later Lombardia. The landscape is beautiful and varied, rich of protected areas in which they have been found regional
parks, it provides the cue in order to organize excursions by bicycle or on foot, along mountains, lakes and the bank
of the rivers. The main distinguishing elements of this region can be summed up as: fashion, the most famous in the world,
at Milan; handicraft, at Bergamo and Brescia it is possible to find again goldsmith, chasers and
masters of the wrought iron, while Cremona boasts of exceptional production of musical instruments.
